Frequently Asked Questions

Is Reflexology suitable for me?

• Reflexolology is available to every-one of all ages, from babies to those receiving end of life care and anyone in between. There are some
occasions where reflexology may not be suitable.

Will Reflexology help me?

•The theory is that reflexology helps the body to naturally restore its own balance
•You may feel after you have had your treatment that you feel deeply relaxed and less tense
•You may also notice an improvement in your sleep, mood and over all well-being
•Treatments are tailored to each person so each treatment is designed to help you

What will happen when I go for a treatment?

•you will have a consultation so that you can give a full medical history, all information is confidential
•You will then be asked to remove your foot wear and socks, the therapist will gently cleanse each foot with wipes
•The therapist will apply pressure to your feet, or hands if having hand reflexology, by using their fingers, thumbs and knuckles. Some areas of
the feet/hands may feel a little tender at first but this soon passes. The treatment should feel relaxing and enjoyable, you may even fall
asleep!
•Afterwards you will be given feed back as to what was felt during the treatment and also what you may have felt, this will then help to determine
what further treatments will be required to further aid your well-being
•Feedback after the treatment will help tailor an individual treatment plan which will be specific to you
•After a few treatments you may notice your body is responding well and your well-being starting to improve
